Walmart - The Spread of the Cancer

Here is an absolutely amazing video that shows the growth of Walmart since 1962 .

It was done by software developer Toby Segaran. He say about this project. "To create the animation, I generated 30 images for each year starting with 1962. I spread all the Wal-marts that opened that year over the 30 frames. To show the appearance of a Wal-mart, all I had to do was plot a large white dot over the small yellow dot for the appropriate ZIP code."

The Incredible P-Mate

Now that you ladies have recovered and are streamlined thanks to the previous post. You are going to want to get outside enjoy all your newly found aerodynamic smoothness. But there has always been that nagging question of what to do when nature calls during your outings. Whether you are hiking in the woods, taking in a concert or any type of public outing your choices were pretty clear. Squat in the woods or do that hover thing in a port-a-potty or public restroom.

Now you can relax. For the greatest invention of the new millennium has arrived. The P-Mate.

"The P-Mate is a portable urinating device that allows women to urinate standing up whenever they need to, without losing their dignity and more effectively angle urine samples into testing cups. Easy and hygienic, the device is made from recycled flat-packed cardboard and permits women to direct the urine stream comfortably instead of blindly over a toilet."

Bikini Waxing

OK, Ladies. The weather is getting nicer and it's that time year for a little spring cleaning. I thought it would be helpful if I posted a couple videos that may help those of you that have not yet experienced the joys of a bikini wax.

No need to thank me. Now just lay back. This won't hurt a bit.

Do You Believe In God?

Well do ya? Take a second to click over to YesNoGod.com and simply hit the yes or no button. Each country is listed individually. And even though most of the countries only list a few votes. I found the results a little surprising. But it is only a matter of time before the christian militia learn of the site and instruct all their minions to form a single file line, take a drink of the koolaid and press yes.

Art vs. Graffiti in LaVilla

Channel 47 News did a story tonight on Urbismus The wheatpasting street art that has taken downtown by storm.

I understand that for a topic such as this, the media needs to present both sides of the coin. I'm fairly tolerant of others opinions that differ from my own. But what's with this Steve Birtrand guy.

When given the explanation of what the images stood for. "The group says their message is to show what life would be like if Jacksonville’s abandoned buildings had people living in them. They say they only post their messages on abandoned buildings."

Stevey boy comes up this jewel. "What's the difference between that (pointing at the Ubismus image) and gang writing?"

And then follows with brilliant gem;

"I think of John Lennon when you tell me that…imagine all the people---it really doesn’t, no it really doesn’t change my mind at all…graffiti’s still graffiti…God forbid if something happened to my child and I went off and hurt the man that did something to my child…it’s still a crime for me to do that…a crime’s a crime".

Like I stated above, "I'm fairly tolerant of others opinions". But only "fairly". Steve you had your say, and you are completely entitled to your opinion. Now here's mine.

Steve you asked the difference between the Urbimus images and gang writing. Gang writing is spray painting that denotes gang activity and territory. Thus creating urban blight in an area full of life. The Urbismus Art on the other hand, is creative well thought out images placed in blighted urban areas in the hopes of creating visual interest in these lifeless parts of town. And that is the difference you dimwitted fucking twit. But that's just my opinion.
